Corporate History

1995

Conception of William Tan Enterprises (WTE), a single proprietorship,
engaged primarily in fuel, copra and grains trading.

1997

Additional business ventures: Ricemill, Iceplant, Poultry and Piggery in
Brooke’s Point, Palawan

2003

Acquired Palawan territory from Chevron Philippines, Inc. (formerly
Caltex) and WTE was awarded as the Branded Marketer
– the sole distributor of Caltex fuel in the province of Palawan.

2004

WTE trimmed down the business and focused on 2 major lines
– Fuel and Copra Trading.

2008

Construction of Fuel Bulk Terminal with a 2.1 million liters tank
capacity in Puerto Princesa City.

2010

Conversion/ Incorporation of WTE to William Tan Enterprises, Inc.. (WTEI)
Palawan Star Shipping Lines, Inc. was organized and created.

2012

Establishment of Stone Crushing Plant in Aborlan, Palawan.
Construction of 2 additional storage tanks with a capacity of
1.5 Million liters and 3.5 Million liters, respectively.

2013

WTEI Realty and Development Corporation and Ma. Luisa Tan
Farm Inc. were created.
